Help with coldfusion and cfm files?

Help with coldfusion and cfm files?

I downloaded coldfusion and used the built in server, but when I try to view my cfm files it only displays the html. Does anybody know what the problem could be?

It depends what software you are using. I reccommend Macromedia Homesite ++. Maybe the CFM file just doesn't contain ColdFusion tags? They are not necessarily a necessity. If you need any more help, feel free to mail me.
