What is the computer equivalent of a PS3 with Linux?

What is the computer equivalent of a PS3 with Linux?

I know you can throw Linux on a ps3. So what would be an equivalent computer (in terms of processor speed --dual core?? or ram)? I know obviously that hard drive can be changed.
