I'm emailing a support site and they are asking for my incoming mail server. what...

...is that? They are also asking for my outgoing e-mail server (SMTP) name. Where do I find this information?

POP3 and SMTP addresses only have meaning if you are using a separate email program. They do not exist if you are only using Yahoo mail on the web.

In order to use a separate email program, such as Outlook, Outlook Express, or Thunderbird, with Yahoo Mail you need to pay for Yahoo Mail Plus. It is also required when you try to transfer the mail using smtp or pop3 to another online email. When you do you can set the servers as follows (these are recent changes):
Incoming (pop3) - plus.pop.mail.yahoo.com
Outgoing (smtp) - plus.smtp.mail.yahoo.com

As an alternative there is an add on called YPOPS that you can download and try.
