Windows XP Pro and IIS - MS Access Connection?

Ive just installed XP Pro and IIS and am looking to test some Access db driven asp pages. Everything works fine on my ISP's server, but when I try and run it on IIS on my local machine I get an error.
ASP s working fine - Ive tested that. But when I come to define the record set, I get a "page cannot be displayed error" of the type
"Microsoft VBScript runtime (0x800A01A8)
Object required: 'Connection' "

I'm using a DSN-less connection.

There is very possibly something basic that I have overlooked, but several hours of head scratching and a few glasses of wine have rendered me incapable of solving this.

In the end I looked in another asp text book and found a slightly different connection syntax. I tried that and it worked fine. Thanks for the offer of assistance!

it sounds like that you havnt got an connection object, which you need in order to use a database, if you mail me ill try and help a little further
