wampserver. please can someone tell me what wampserver is used for, is it a
replacement for m/s iis? to preview my website, during the building process, I installed microsoft iis, I am now changing my site from asp to php, i have been recommended wampserver, is wamp an alternative to iis? and if it is, do i place my root folders inside wamp. thanks

WAMP is used to preview PHP and ASP both locally. You will have to put your entire website inside WWW folder in WAMP.
