What are the resources I need to run MS SQL SERVER 2005 with at least 20,000 users?
The resources like the machine server with the specs.
I need the answer ASAP. Thank you in advance.
Of course it's not only a 20,000 user. I only need a minimum requirement with AT LEAST 20,000 users and a daily transactions.
Thanks

Ah, sure. Consultants (like me and my staff) get paid big bucks for this answer. It really depends on a lot of factors. Want to hire my firm? We can talk--I accept email.
Laughing? My firm supports sites with far more than 20,000 users. Many commercial sites (like Yahoo) support many thousands of users. Real estate, travel reservations, customer support sites and many others must support many thousands of users. On a single SQL Server. Sure, with the right front-end and right database design and hardware--but more likely an array of servers.
