MS Visio - How to merge together SQL database Transaction categories?
MS Visio - How to merge together SQL database Transaction categories? In Ms Visio - Is there a specific way to merge together SQL database Transaction categories relationship that are implemented in SQL Server, or is it just a conceptual model leaving the implementation up to the programmer?

To the best of my knowledge (altho I haven't worked with a version more recent than Visio03), you can't. The only interconnectivity I know of between any object in a diagram and anything else is defining a hyperlink for a shape that is activated by a doubleclick or the like. Even if you could define something similar to link a Visio drawing with SQL Server, I doubt that changes in one would affect the other in any way...the best you could hope for might be a doubleclick in your chart to bring up SQL Server with the database design loaded (and I'm not even sure that much is possible).
