It could also be the OS. If the new laptop is on Vista and the rest are XP you might want to try (on the Vista laptop) going into Network and sharing and make sure the laptop is set to "Static IP" and put in the router address (192.168.X.X)
IIn your router settings set your Gateway to static according to your ISP (Internet Service Provider) address. Then set your DNS to static and input your ISP settings for that too. Apply the settings. Your router will then restart.
Set your computer IP to static and input the router IP (192.168.0.XX) and the Gateway to (192.168.0.X). Make sure the gateway is one number different at the end from the IP.
Each computer on the network, attached to the router, must have a different key assigned. If your router settings are correct you should have your Internet Service Provider (ISP) settings in there. If you have WEP Encryption you will need to assign an individual key to each computer.
Make sure all your computers are on the same WORKGROUP
That should get your router talking to your computers and the internet. Try that.
Good luck
