How to generate response file for oracle?

we tried to create, response file, but it's not getting generated through following commands...

Setup.exe -responsefile <path to .rsp file>
setup.exe -responsefile <.rsp file name>
setup.exe -record -destinationfile <path to .rsp file>

Please suggest
