The second one looks like it took more time to make, therefore, it looks more professional.
Have you tried looking at your sites from different computers?
The second one has a lot of empty space (half of the page) to the right. It could be laid out better.
The first one should be centered. The text under the menu looks too far to the left.
And, again with the first one, there is too much space on the left (at least, on my computer).
So, I like the second one better. Its colorful and eye catching, and looks more professional than the first.
