awola antivirus?! please help immediately!!?

how do i get rid of it? its stuck on my computer.. i didnt even download it.. something pops up in the corner of my laptop saying "windows has detected spyware infection" and will download the lastest antispyware -- i havent bought it or downloaded it but the popup is very annoying and im afriad its still doing stuff with my computer now----------- this is my moms work computer and very important.. PLEASE HELP. and so i gogoled awola antivirus and its obviously a scam but i dont trust the links that it gives me.. what do i do? is norton antivirus good? should i tell my parents?
please please please please help im really worried. this is very important.
