How do i write a c++ prog. that represents an algorithm that finds real roots...


...of a 2nd degree equation?? Help! i really do not understand this stuff, can some one help please?

I assume it is not enough to be able to use the good old quadratic equation formula. The only other method is numerical. Here's a list of numerical methods: http://www.damtp.cam.ac.uk/lab/people/sd/lectures/nummeth98/roots.htm
